Welcome to EmpowHERing Minds Academy (EMA), where we are dedicated to empowering young ladies (JEWELS) ages 11-17 to reach their full potential. Through our comprehensive program, we offer a variety of workshops and activities designed to prepare participants for personal, professional, and social interactions.
At EM Academy, our goal is to equip young ladies with the knowledge, skills, and resources they need to overcome obstacles and thrive in every aspect of their lives. Whether it's building confidence, honing leadership abilities, or fostering a sense of community, our workshops are tailored to address the unique challenges and opportunities young ladies face. We will explore factors related to emotional intelligence and create an atmosphere of scholarly behaviors for success beyond graduation.
Through interactive sessions led by experienced mentors and industry professionals, participants will gain practical insights and strategies to navigate the complexities of today's world with confidence and resilience. From communication skills to financial literacy, from self-care practices to career development, EM Academy provides a holistic approach to personal and professional growth.

Educational Disparities
EMA provides academic support programs, tutoring sessions, and workshops aimed at enhancing literacy and math skills. We offer college readiness resources such as SAT/ACT preparation classes and guidance on college applications and financial aid.
Economic Opportunities
EMA offers workshops on financial literacy, budgeting, and entrepreneurship to empower participants to make informed financial decisions. We provide career development programs, including resume building, interview skills, and job search assistance, to help participants secure meaningful employment opportunities.
Mentorship & Support
EMA pairs each participant with a dedicated mentor who provides guidance, encouragement, and support throughout their journey. We facilitate networking events and professional development workshops to connect participants with experienced professionals and mentors in their fields of interest.
Self Esteem & Confidence
EMA offers workshops and activities focused on self-esteem building, positive body image, and assertiveness training to help participants develop confidence and self-worth. We provide opportunities for participants to showcase their talents and achievements, fostering a sense of pride and accomplishment.
Community Engagement
EMA organizes community service projects, volunteer opportunities, and outreach programs to encourage participants to actively engage with their communities. We facilitate discussions and workshops on civic engagement, advocacy, and leadership to empower participants to become agents of positive change in their communities.
